Talk to someone
National Responsible Gambling Programme: 0800 006 008. Visit the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation for support and information. The NRGP provides free counselling and treatment for people affected by gambling harm.
Set the boundaries before a session
Choose a time limit and a spending limit before you open an operator website. Use only money you can afford to lose after essentials are covered. Do not borrow to gamble, chase losses or treat a bonus as income. Watching a match without placing a bet is always an option.
Notice when things change
Spending more than planned, hiding activity, missing responsibilities or feeling unable to stop are reasons to pause. You do not need to wait for a crisis to ask for help. A trusted person can help you take the first step towards support.
Timeouts and self-exclusion
Use the operator’s responsible gambling settings or official support to ask about available limits, timeouts and self-exclusion. If you are excluded, do not open another account or use someone else’s account. A login guide is not a way around those protections.
Adults only
This site is intended for people aged 18 and older. Keep account details away from children, secure shared devices and sign out after use. If you are concerned about someone else’s gambling, you can also seek support through the NRGP.
